Lori, I am currently studying nutrition and learning about cancer diets- I certainly am no expert but am learning that sugar, all sugars that are sweet, real or fake are the worst thing for cancer or during treatment of cancer. Avoid it altogether and only use a little stevia- this includes all high sugar fruits as your body still recognizes the sugar- only low sugar berries are recommended if at all and in extreme moderation.. Also grains become sugars in your system so no grains- eat raw or lightly steamed veggies, and juice and blend lots of green veggies. Also all animal proteins and animal products feed cancer cells similar to sugar- avoid this too- I will send you some good book resources hopefully tomorrow. Thanks for your question, I’m happy to help the best I can.

I believe in and drink alkaline water daily. It brought a significant change on how I move today compared to before when I was not using alkaline water; I recently lost a kidney to cancer. Thanks to the information and reviews from different dedicated websites for wellness, they have provided me the best solution so far.
I absolutely LOVE your website! I’m in the process of changing my diet to alkaline and you have really been an inspiration.
Do you have any tips on how to deal with going to friends’ houses for dinners/birthdays? Or when traveling, like I go back home and usually stay with family abroad and let me tell you our traditional foods are nowhere near alkaline lol and I wouldn’t want to bother anyone by having to make me a different dish. Even when staying in a hotel, would you pack your own snacks and just eat at healthy restaurants?
I just want to say Im so glad I found this blog!
My boyfriend recently died of cancer and we were just starting to put him on an all alkaline diet, which I’m still positive would have turned things around for him, unfortunately his brain radiation therapy caused a fatal tumour bleed.
However I am continuing research on alkaline foods and this website is a great help for when I need ideas and a guide of delicious things to eat! Hopefully the world will catch on soon.
Thank you so much xx
Oh Gosh Charlotte, I’m so sorry to hear your story. I wish there was more information out there about the dangers of radiation and chemo therapy. Alkalizing the body and assessing your live blood cells via microscopic analysis is the way to go from my perspective. Thank you for sharing and so glad you found us:)
Nabila, I just take at least one yummy dish when I go places so I know there is always something that I can have and will love. Like guacamole and veggies or a salad. When I travel I do a Vega Smoothie mix and add water and shake for breaky or I take chia porridge and a box of almond milk iwht a few spices and some seeds and nuts and stir it altogether. For restaurants I order the delicious veggie side dishes and salad. If I can find awesome healthy restaurants it’s a total bonus, it’s getting easier and easier to do so! And do remember if you are not chronically ill you can have 20-30% acidic foods per day so a little zig and zag meaning an acidic food is okay but make the best choices you can at the time and then rebalance the next day. Good luck.
