I have been a proponent of agave in the past but am now learning that it too, is being adulterated with GMO corn syrup in some cases and we can&#039;t be sure what to believe.  I myself will start using soaked dried organic dates to sweeten this pudding or the cashew cream or perhaps even dried stevia leaf powder in place or in combination.  Both of these are whole, unprocessed sweet food sources with high nutrient content and will not take away from most dishes, only enhance them. You can make a date paste with soaked dates and water blended smooth in a blender and then freeze in ice cube trays for a handy addition to any recipe.  Thanks for stopping by:)</description>
