Lori, I am currently studying nutrition and learning about cancer diets- I certainly am no expert but am learning that sugar, all sugars that are sweet, real or fake are the worst thing for cancer or during treatment of cancer. Avoid it altogether and only use a little stevia- this includes all high sugar fruits as your body still recognizes the sugar- only low sugar berries are recommended if at all and in extreme moderation.. Also grains become sugars in your system so no grains- eat raw or lightly steamed veggies, and juice and blend lots of green veggies. Also all animal proteins and animal products feed cancer cells similar to sugar- avoid this too- I will send you some good book resources hopefully tomorrow. Thanks for your question, I'm happy to help the best I can.
